Within the framework of the joint cooperation agreement between Othaim Holding Company and the Saut Down Syndrome Association, Mr. Abdulilah bin Abdullah Al-Othaim made a donation of SAR 738,214 to cover the cost of implementing the "Saut Program for Religious Education" for 56 of his fellow students for one school year.
Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Othaim, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Othaim Holding Company, explained that the donation made by his son Abdulilah reinforces Othaim companies' interest in social responsibility programs and their provision of many purposeful, ongoing programs in various fields, as well as creating available support opportunities for these important segments, strengthening social solidarity and cohesion among its members, within the framework of the company's mission toward society.
Al-Othaim expressed his praise for the efforts of the Saut Down Syndrome Association in strengthening community partnership and caring for these segments, which are dear to all of us.
Ms. Fatima Malak, Executive Director of the Saut Down Syndrome Association, praised the support provided by Abdulilah bin Abdullah Al-Othaim and the unlimited attention of Othaim Holding Company, represented by its Chairman, Mr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Othaim, due to his belief in the association's mission and his appreciation of the great efforts the association makes to serve a precious segment of the nation's sons and daughters.
She noted that this support and the strategic partnership with Othaim Company have had an effective, positive impact on supporting the association's mission and achieving its goals — support that is unsurprising from a company that has achieved important successes in strengthening its role and spreading a purposeful culture of social responsibility across multiple fields.
The Executive Director pointed out that the Saut Down Syndrome Association is unique in serving and supporting people with Down syndrome and their families in the Kingdom from birth through training ending in employment. The association also aspires to a future in which people with Down syndrome live independent, productive, and valued lives in society, aiming to empower people with Down syndrome in the Kingdom through world-class education, training, research, and awareness.
