Her relationship with Saut Down Syndrome Association dates back to 1986. Today she chairs the Board of Directors and plays a major role in educating, training and rehabilitating students with Down Syndrome in the Kingdom.

HRH Princess Basma bint Badr bin Abdulmohsen is distinguished by her passion for children's development and education, which led her to join the Board of Saut Down Syndrome Association in 2010. As treasurer of the Association, she plays a fundamental role in raising awareness about the capabilities of children with Down Syndrome and encouraging their integration into society. She founded the "Talent Room" center in Riyadh, specialized in developing life skills and Arabic language for children under four.
